As cyclists ourselves, we want to make your cycling holiday as easy and enjoyable as possible.
We are members of the “Accueil Vélo” network, and are committed to respecting its charter.
The Vélidéale (formerly V93), a new fully signposted cycle route, passes just a few kilometers from Gîte La Ponne.
- Arriving from the west, after Celles-sur-Belle, the Vélidéale is 3.6 km away (GPX trace here)
- Arriving from the south, before Melle, it is 4.4 km away (trace GPX trace here).
From the Gîte La Ponne, you can enjoy a quiet ride on our local roads, or choose one of the routes already mapped out and recommended.

Arrival or departure: autonomous on request, or by appointment.
A covered and closed room is available next to the gîte for your bicycles.
Available:
- puncture material, set of wrenches, lubricant, foot pump,
- outside tap, hose, brush,
- socket for recharging electrical appliances on the terrace and in the gîte.
We can store your car free of charge in a “dead garage” while you're away by bike.
Luggage transfer to the next accommodation provided by us, depending on availability, at a rate of €0.55 per km, including the outward and return journeys.
